Five actions in the Hennepin County District Court arising out of a collision between an automobile owned and driven by Howard
C. Mueller, in which Richard A. Berg was a passenger, and one owned by Frances R. Sprader and driven by Alexander A. Sprader,
in which said Frances Sprader and Lena Vossen were passengers. Berg and Alexander Sprader died as a result of the accident,
and all of the others were injured. Frances Sprader sued Mueller in her capacity as trustee for the heirs of Alexander Sprader
for his death and individually for her personal injuries and property damage. Lena Vossen sued Mueller, Frances Sprader, and
the Alexander Sprader estate for her personal injuries, and June L. Berg as trustee for the heirs of Richard A. Berg sued
the same defendants for his death. Mueller sued Frances Sprader and the Sprader estate for his personal injuries and property
damage. The cases were tried together before the Honorable E. J. Kenny, a retired district judge, and a jury. Howard C. Mueller
appealed from a judgment entered against him in each case on the basis of special verdicts. AUTHOR: OTIS
